The 2007 Rugby World Cup was held in France. The Wallabies won all 4 of their pool games, defeating Wales, Japan, Namibia, and Fiji, with a 91-3 thrashing of the Japanese being a highlight. They lost to tournament runners-up England in the quarter final in a closely fought game.
